I love going out!!

Tanner just loves to go out! Whether it's just a quick walk or a trip to the store - he just loves to be out and about and to see new people and things!

When he sees the Baby Bjorn carrier - he gets really excited and this is before I even have it on!

Little Scooter

Tanner is starting to scoot around on his tummy! He does really well getting what he wants and moving all over with a combination of rolling and scooting - it's really cute!! When he sees something he really wants - he just throws his body in that direction with his arms stretched as far as possible! A couple of weeks ago - he started to get on his hands and knees and rock but no real crawling yet.

Hello Everyone!!!

We finally have a new camera and can show you all some new photos of Tanner!! I'm not going to put ALL of them on now - I'll update it every few days with some new photos so check back often!

Growing up so fast!

Well - even though we don't have a camera - we can still update you all!! Tanner is getting mobile! Yikes! He's rolling all over the place. Just last night he was playing on the floor and was rolling all over the living room! He rolled right over to his Daddy! Now we'll have to keep a close eye on him b/c soon he'll realize that he can go anywhere by rolling and will be into everything! :)

He's doing great with learning to sit by himself. Everyday we can tell his torso is getting stronger - it probably won't be long and he won't need the support anymore.

Tanner loves books! When I put a variety of toys in front of him - he always goes for the book! Of course, he's not too interested in looking at it yet - just biting it and turning it around in his hands.

He's making lots of gurgling noises! We are excited for the day he says either mamamama or dadadada!!

Tanner is six months old today!! The time sure does fly!! Seems like just yesterday we were welcoming him into this world.

Well - this may be the last batch of photos for awhile. Our camera is no longer in commission so until we get it fixed or get a new one - the photos below will have to hold you all over!!

Tanner is eating new things each week. I added a list on the right-hand side of the page to keep you all updated on his new foods! (I stole that idea from Zach and Katie - thanks guys!) :)

AND...Tanner's second bottom middle tooth just popped through today!

Lots of New Stuff!!

Hello Everyone!!
Tanner has been experiencing LOTS of new things!! First - he got his first tooth!!! His bottom left middle tooth popped through on March 28. It's just through - it's even hard to see but you sure can feel it - sharp!!

He's also doing fun things like playing drums with Daddy!! You can see a video of it on his video site - see the link on the right-hand side of the page.

Another exciting new thing is that Tanner tried solid food for the very first time on April 2! Rice cereal was his first food and he did really well!! There is a video of this on the video site too! Enjoy!!

Five Months Old!!!

We just can't believe our little guy is over five months old already!! He's getting so big and is growing up by leaps and bounds. Tanner is a happy, content baby and is just a joy to have in our lives!!

He is getting more and more social. Lately, he doesn't want to go to bed b/c it's more fun to be with us! He has a bit of a cough/cold again. We are hoping that it goes away quickly and doesn't get too bad.

Grandpa and Nana VT came to visit last week...we had a WONDERFUL time!! Wanna come back, Nana and Grandpa?? We miss you!!

Sorry it has taken a bit to update the blog...Tanner is getting too smart for our camera! There is a red light that shines before the picture is taken (before the flash goes off) so he blinks and squints as soon as he sees the red light! Almost all of the photos we've taken in the past month show him with his eyes closed or half closed! But we have a few.....
